Each year, IARPT’s journal, The American Journal of Theology and Philosophy, hosts a lecture at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Religion. We are pleased to announce that John Kaag will be this year’s speaker. John Kaag is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.  His most recent book is American Philosophy: A Love Story. He is also the author of Idealism, Pragmatism, and Feminism: The Philosophy of Ella Lyman Cabot and Thinking Through the Imagination: Aesthetics in Human Cognition. Dr. Kaag’s writing has appeared in The New York Times, Harper’s Magazine, and The Christian Science Monitor.

The 2017 annual meeting of the AAR will take place November 18-21 in Boston, Massachusetts. Professor Kaag’s lecture will be on Sunday evening, November 19. All are welcome.
